2. What data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to run the service.
• Email address: for wish list owners, used for sign-in and email notifications when guests reserve items.
• First name: for guests, entered when reserving an item. Shared only with the wish list owner so they know who is bringing each gift.
Wishper's operator may access this data as needed to operate, maintain, and provide support for the service.
3. What we do NOT collect
We do not use behavioural tracking tools, user profiling, or advertising cookies. We do not share personal data with third parties beyond what is strictly necessary for service delivery (email sending).
4. Why we collect it (legal basis)
• Email address: Contract performance. We need it to authenticate you and send reservation notifications.
• Guest name: Legitimate interest. It prevents duplicate gifts and helps the wish list owner coordinate thank-yous.
5. Where data is stored
Personal data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). Email delivery is handled by Lettermint, based in the Netherlands (European Union). No personal data leaves the EU.
6. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your data within 30 days. Guest reservation names are kept until the wish list they belong to is deleted.

We use a single session cookie provided by Supabase to keep you signed in. There are no behavioural tracking, profiling, or third-party cookies.ally@wishper.gift
9. Contextual information
We may use your approximate location (derived from your IP address at city level) and the content of the page you are viewing to show contextually relevant content or advertisements. Your IP address itself is not stored. No persistent identifiers, cookies, or user profiles are created for this purpose.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify registered users by email.
